Jean Hoerni revolutionized semiconductor manufacturing. He has acheived this by inventing the planer process.
ReplyDeleteThis is a process that involves the basic procedures of silicon dioxide *SiO2* oxidation, SiO2 etching and some heat diffusion.
With this manufacutures could produce more semiconductors faster and at a better quality.
he also help break other faluires that haunted manufacture of the 60s inculding purple plague on gold bonding wires, electromigration of aluminum interconnect lines, and MOS transistor stability on circuits. Without Jean Hoerni help make the mordern semiconductors of today.
